Winter Lane Footpath

As part of Bellway Homes planning consent to build the new houses at the end of Rectory Farm Close (Elderberry Grange) the company was required to build a new footpath along Winter Lane. The road is missing a footpath along most of its length, although the new one was not going to fill all the gaps it was still very welcomed.
Bellway has had some problems trying to identify land owners where the path needs to be located, as well as provide a path to meet all regulations due to space available.
As a result Belway was seeking release from the clause but has since reviewed this and decided to persevere to try and get the work completed. There will be some legal work required but hopefully the hurdles will be overcome.
It would be a great shame not to have a footpath of some description as it would provide pedestrians with much more safety.
