Hanney Drama Group

Since soon after the new Hanney War Memorial Hall opened Hanney Drama Group (HDG) has performed a pantomime, a big show, a Music Hall or plays early in the year, usually February; an event that has proved over many years to be very popular among Hanney residents.

For a number of years the HDG were involved in the Oxfordshire Drama Network's pantomime and children's play competition in which they won several awards. A Claim to Fame; they also had a three page spread article written about them in Country Life, November 2008.
