Hanney Michaelmas Fayre
Each year on a Saturday towards the end of September the villages gather to enjoy the Michaelmas Fayre. The Fayre first took place in 2013 and has grown in popularity ever since. It is held around the ancient Butter Cross and Church Greens in West Hanney.
The Fayre itself is followed in the evening by the Michaelmas Feast, the proceeds of which go to the Michaelmas Grants Fund. Each year the profit from the Fayre & Feast is awarded in grants to local village organisations.
